As the leader of the Knights of Dusk, the Warden coordinates the work of the officers and guides the Order's initiatives.
The rank of Dusk Warden was held first by Mysin of Duskwood, followed by Linfae Orestes, Juwn Luxgyn, Baldrik Blackcrest, Nolland Blackstaff and Aldeleradaje Tav'Elaon. Aiera Archer now serves as Warden.
The Marshal serves as the right hand of the Warden. They assist the Warden in directing the Order and its officers, and preside over the promotion of Citizens to become Squires. In the absence of the Warden, the Marshal leads the Order. Previously there had been only one Steward, but as the Order has grown, it became necessary to appoint a second when needed.
Aedinus currently serves as Marshal.
The Lorekeepers of the Order look after the harmony of its membership. Their duties are myriad in the discharge of this, including the scheduling of events for the Knights and our allies to attend. They are our role-playing officers, organizing role-play events and helping to ensure the integrity of role-play within the guild.
Dazlinder and Lolulu currently serve as Lorekeepers.
Knight-Captains command the Knights on the field of battle. They also plan our strategies and prepare Knights to most effectively execute them.
David currently serves as our Knight-Captain.
These Knights serve under Commander Ebonlocke, with certain privileges and responsibilities maintained within the Order. Dusk Watchers are alts of current officers of the guild. They have limited officer privileges on these characters.
Knights that have shown themselves to be exceptionally valuable members of the Order may be granted the Honor Guard title. To receive the title, a Knight must be sponsored by a current Honor Guard or Officer of the Order, and approved by the Officers. To maintain this rank, the Honor Guards must maintain their level of commitment and service to the Dusk.
The rank of Knight is the primary membership position within the Order. Knights have proven themselves worthy and capable of wearing the Dusk's colors by demonstrating their character and their mettle in battle. Upon their promotion to this rank, they take an oath of responsibility to the people of the Alliance, the people of Darkshire, and to their fellow Knights of Dusk.
The Squire rank is a probationary period for all new members of the Order. Squires have been allowed to join the Order because they have shown a desire to fight for the Dusk. Their promotion from Squire to the rank of Knight is subject to the approval of their Sire. They must serve in this position for a period of at least one month.
To join the Order and become a Squire, a Citizen must complete seven tasks, at which time they will receive a Sire whom they will serve as a Squire. Page is the entry rank of the Order.
Only registered citizens of Darkshire will be considered eligible to join the cause for the Dusk. To join the Order and become a Squire, a Citizen must complete seven tasks, at which time they will receive a Sire whom they will serve as a Squire. A Citizen is not considered in-character to be a member of the Order, although out of character they are members of the guild. The rank is for alts of current members.
These are the rules of the Order that all Knights are expected to follow, as they currently stand. [Updated February 28, 2011.]
